EXTENSION ACTIVITIES CELL |
| The college looks forward to set up an extension activities cell to responds to community needs by way conducting various extension and awareness programmes in association with NGOs and Gos. Extension Activities Cell of the College conducts various such activities to enhance the community orientation of the students so that learn to see themselves as a part of the greater society. |
WOMEN CELL |
| The college also feels a separate women cell may be formed organize debate on the issues like women’s rights, women empowerment, gender activity, to invite women rights activists and conduct deliberation, to organize awareness campaign on different issues of importance and to identify the problems and needs of the female students of the College in order to redress them as far as practicable. |
GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL |
| The College has also taken up the issue to institute a cell to redress the grievances of the students and staff such that the students can drop their complain note in the specified box located in the ground floor of the College, just beside the College office. However, the student must identify himself/herself in that complain letter by way of mentioning his/her class, and roll number. |
EMPLOYMENT CELL |
| The College is also thinking of developing an employment cell which will appraise the students of employment opportunities and, offer suitable guidance. |
PARENT-TEACHER ORGANISATION |
| This organisation may be formed to maintain an active interface between guardians and faculty so that each can share the other’s vision in building the future of our common children. |
CONCLUSION |
When this college was established in 1986, it was a time when the government emphasized on geographical expansion of higher education to the different parts of the country and maximizing access to higher education by more and more students. To open a college one was required to fulfill certain physical requirements.
But today the emphasis is on quantitative expanse along with quality assurance. To open a college or continue its functioning one need to pass the test of certain standards as per global norms. |
