| Application forms for admission to 1st yr. BA/B.Com Honours and General programmes are issued immediately after the publication of Higher Secondary results on production of original mark sheet of the last examination. |

| RULES FOR COLLEGIATE / NON-COLLEGIATE / DIS-COLLEGIATE |
| Selected candidates are requested to attend their classes from the very beginning of the session. The candidates who will take admission after commencement of class, attendance will be counted from the very nex day of their admission. |

Collegiate Candidates : Students are required to attend at least 75% of the total lectures delivered to them in the session. They are eligible to appear at the university examination.
Non-Collegiate Candidates : The students whose percentage of class attendance are 60% and above but below 75% of the total lectures delivered to them in the session will be treated as non-collegiate candidates. They may be sent up at the university examination if their short percentage is condoned by the university authority.
Dis-Collegiate Candidates : The candidates whose percentage of class attendance falls below 60% of the total lectures delivered to them in the session will be ttreated as dis-collegiate candidates. They are not eligible to appear at the university examination. They may take re-admission.

| CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION |
| If any student remains absent from his/her classes continuously for thirty days within the first two months from the date of his/her admission, his/her name will automatically be struck off the rolls, Fees submitted by the students at the time of admission shall also be forfeited. |

| Rules regarding re-admission |
| The students who become dis-collegiate due to shortage of percentage may be re-admitted in the immediately following year/session if they satisfy university requirements. The percentage of such students will be cou8nted on the basis of their date of admission. |
| Rules regarding promition to second year classes |
| Classes for the second year will commence immediately after the summer vacation. Candidates who have completed University Part-I examination will be permitted to attend such classes. Percentage of attendance will be counted from the date of commencement of second year classes. |

| RULES OF ADMISSION TO THIRD YEAR CLASSES |
| Classes for the third year will commence immediately after Part-II examination. Candidates who have completed the Part-II examination will be permitted to attend such classes, provided they take provisional admission to 3rd classes. |
